New: Deuteron MK-F7 – Our finest polymethylurea-based matting agent
Achim, 3 July 2025. With the new Deuteron MK-F7, we are expanding our proven product range with a highly innovative matting agent that sets new standards – especially where extremely fine particles are crucial.
Thanks to modernized production processes, we can now offer polymethylurea-based powders with unprecedented fineness. Deuteron MK-F7 impresses with a particularly narrow and fine particle size distribution – with a D50 value of approx. 2.5 µm, a D90 below 5 µm and a D99 below 10 µm. This means that it outperforms our finest product of Deuteron MK product range.
This new fineness opens up a wide range of possible applications – especially for extremely thin-film systems, inkjet applications or highly effective surface protection.
Deuteron MK-F7 also offers noticeably stronger effects in terms of feel, sliding effect and friction values – without the use of PTFE. The finer the particles, the more intensive the effect – and this is precisely where our new product sets new standards.
